All praise to Allah who made the confession of monotheism a protection and fortification for His servants. His is praise, blessing and dominion.

O Allah praise and give peace to our Master Mohammed, his family and pure, righteous companions.

Servants of Allah, I exhort you and myself to have taqwa (wariness) of Allah and obedience to Him. And I warn you and myself of rebellion against Him and disobeying His order. There are many significant features for this day. '' Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.'' Allah also says '' O you who believe Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, He will give you a double portion of His Mercy, and He will give you a light by which you shall walk. And He will forgive you. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.''

O believers: prayers are highest way of worshipping Allah. They are the greatest and most sacred worship. They are the reason of the realization of the bondage to meet the need of the human psyche.

Prayer is a proof of great submission to Allah. The Messenger of Allah may Allah''s peace and blessings be upon him said ''Prayer is worship.'' And then he recited Allah''s saying '' And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your.''

Prayer is a way to ask Allah Almighty for his goodness, which is the key to every answer.  There is a great closeness between Allah and his worshipper. He answers their calls. His door is always open and he is generous to those who beg him.

Servants of Allah, Prayers are the weapon prophets. All prophets who prayed to Allah were heard. Allah tells us about Prophet Jonah may Allah''s peace be upon him '' And (remember) Dhun-Nûn (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamities which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness (saying): La ilaha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O, Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers." So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).'' Allah Almighty also spoke of Zachariah may Allah''s peace be upon him '' And (remember) Zakariyya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors." So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya (John), and cured his wife (to bear a child) for him. Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us.'' There''s also Prophet Job may Allah''s peace be upon him '' And (remember) Ayyub (Job), when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy." So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost) and the like thereof along with them as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all those who worship Us.''

The narration of Muslim is: "The supplication of a slave continues to be granted as long as he does not supplicate for a sinful thing or for something that would cut off the ties of kinship and he does not grow impatient.'' It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What does growing impatient mean?'' He (PBUH) said, "It is one's saying: `I supplicated again and again but I do not think that my prayer will be answered.' Then he becomes frustrated (in such circumstances) and gives up supplication altogether.''

Commentary: We learn from this Hadith that one should continue beseeching Allah without ever thinking that in spite of praying for a long time, his prayer has not been granted. One should never allow frustration to overcome in his mind. If a person's supplication is not granted for a long time, there would be certainly some good for him in that delay the reason of which is known to Allah Alone. It is, therefore, essential that he should never cease to pray whether his prayer is granted or not. Persistence in prayer is certainly beneficial to him.

[Muslim]. Commentary: Almighty Allah always listens to everyone's prayer but He has fixed certain times when He grants more prayers addressed to Him. Therefore, one should never curse oneself or one's own children or one's own business, etc., lest this is done at the time when prayers are accepted by Allah and then one has to regret it all his life.

Muslim, be aware that prayer is part of worship. It is the hope for the underprivileged, a life jacket for the desperate and Lance and comfort to the sick, injured and the bereaved.

Brother believers, never tire in praying to Allah and work hard on it.

I ask Allah to forgive you and I.
